navigation Tab Tutorial

Step 1: 

Change your foreground color to black.

Step 2: 

Add a new layer.

Step 3: 

Select the rounded rectangular tool.

Step 4: 

In the options bar click on the fill pixels icon. ( Its the 3rd icon)

Step 5:

In the options bar increse the radius to 20.

Step 6: 

Draw your rounded corner box.

Step 7: 

Select the rectangular marquee tool.

Step 8: 

Draw a rectangular selection around the bottom 1/4 of your rounded rectangle.

Step 9: 

Press the delete key.

Step  10:

Deselect.

Step 11: 

Switch to the gradient tool.

Step 12:

Click on the arrow and to bring up the gradient thumbnail.

Step 13:

Double click on the left color stop under the editors bar.

Step 14:

Choose 40% black, Click Ok

Step 15:

Double click on the right color swap, but this time choose white, Click Ok

Step 16:

In the layers palette turn on " lock transparent pixels"( its the first icon from the left)

Step 17:

Using the gradient you created, draw a gradient from the top of your shape to the bottom. ( Use the shift)

Step 18:

From your styles choose bevel and emboss.

Step 19:

For style choose inner bevel, set angle to 126, depth 2. and pixel to 4. Raise the highlight opacity to 100% and lower the shadow opacity to 50%. Don't click Ok yet.

Step 20:

In the list of style on the left hand side, click outer glow. 

Step 21:

set the blend mode to normal, then click on the color swatch, choose 30% black as your glow color Increase the spread to 25%, click Ok.

Step 22:

Hold down the apple key, in the layers palette, click the layer that contains the tab.

Step 23: 

Select modify then contract then enter 5 pixels

Step 24:

Select the marquee tool. Hold down the option key and draw a rectangle starting from the bottom of you current selection and just a little below the top.

Step 25:

Add a new layer.

Step 26:

Press x then option+ delete.

Step 27:

deselect.

Step 28:

Click on the filter menu then choose blur, then choose gaussian blur, then enter 1.5 pixels, then choose enter.

Step 29:

Lower the opacity to 70%.

 

Gel Button Tutorial

Step 1: Add a new layer.

Step 2: Set your foreground color to light blue.

Step 3: Select the rectangle tool. In your options bar set your radius to 40 pixels.

Step 4: In the options bar, click on the third icon from the left ( fill pixels)

Step 5: Draw your shape on your stage.

Step 6:Apple +click on your shape layer.

Step 7:  add a new layer 

Step 8: go under the select, under modify, and choose contract. Enter 20 pixels, click Ok.

Step 9: Press the letter "d" then the letter "x" to set your foreground to white.

Step 10: Press option+delete

Step 11: Press apple+D

Step 12: Go under the filter menu, under blur, choose gaussian blur. when dialog box appears, enter 10. Click Ok

Step 13: Select the move tool.

Step 14: using the arrows on the keyboard, move your blurry white layer down to the bottom of the pill shape.

Step 15: Hold down the apple key and click the pill layer in your layers palette.

Step 16: Press shift + apple + I to inverse your selection.

Step 17: Press the delete Key.

 Step 18: Press shift +apple +I

Step 19: Create a new layer.

Step 20: Set your foreground color to a darker blue the your original blue. 

Step 21: fill your selection by pressing option +delete.

Step 22: deselect by pressing apple + deselect. 

Step 23: Hold down the apple key and click once on the blurry layer in your layers palette.  ( be sure not to change layers. you should still be on the dark blue pill layer).

Step 24: Press delete to knock a soft hole out of  the blue pill layer. 

Step 25:  select the rectangular marquee tool.

Step 26: Place your mouse n the selected area and drag you selection upwards a little bit. Tap the delete key.

Step 27: repeat step 26 , one or two more times until the top of the pill. (make you stop short at the top).

Step 28: deselect by pressing apple +d

Step 29: apple +0 click on your pill layer to put a selection around it. 

Step 30: create a new layer.

Step 31: go under select menu, under modify choose contract, enter 20 pixels, choose Ok.

Step 32:  Press the letter d then x to set your foreground color to white.

Step 33: select the gradient tool. in the options bar, click on the facing down arrow next to the gradient thumbnail. Choose the second  gradient. ( foreground to transparent.) 

Step 34: Drag this gradient from the top to the bottom of your selection.

Step 35: deselect

Step 36: select the moving tool, using the arrows on the keyboard, move your white gradient upwards to where its almost at the top, but leave a gap of dark blue between your white gradient and the top of the pill. ( This create the highlight area of the pill) 

Step 37: press apple+ t

Step 38: go under  the edit menu, under transform, choose perspective. 

Step 39: grab the left bottom corner and click and drag outward just a bit to add a perspective effect. 

Step 40: Press enter to et photoshop know your finished. 

Step 41: hide your background layer. merge visible.

Metal Button Tutorial

Step 1= Create new layer. Draw a circular using

the elliptical marquee tool.

Step 2= Press "d" then "x". Select the gradient 

tool.

Step 3= One the option bar click on the down 

facing arrow next to the gradient thumbnail.

Choose the foreground to background gradient. 

Step 4= Choose the picker in the option bar, 

Click on the radial gradient icon.( Its the second

 icon from the left)

Step 5= drag the white to black gradient from the

left center of your selection to about 1/4 past the edge.

Step 6= Press "d" create new layer. 

Step 7= In the gradient picker choose foreground to

transparent gradient( Its the second one from the

left top row.

Step 8= In the option bar choose the linear gradient 

Its the first one). Drag your gradient from the top 

of your selection to the middle to fill the top with black. 

Step 9= In the layers palette, lower the opacity to 75%

Step 10= Create a new layer. 

Step 11= Go under he select menu, under modify and 

choose contact. Enter 6 pixels. click Ok.

Step 12= Press" x" Drag from the top of your selection

through about 1/3 of your selected area. Press apple +D

Step 13= Go under the filter menu, under blur, choose 

gausian blur. Enter 3 pixels. Click Ok. 

Step 14=  Duplicate your top layer by dragging it to 

your new layer.

Step 15= Press apple + T. Ctrl+ Click inside the bounding 

box, then choose rotate 180 from the pop-up menu. press 

enter to let photoshop know your done.

Step 16= Select the move tool. Drag this layer straight 

down almost to the edge.

Step 17= lower the opacity of this layer to 60%.

Step 18= Go back to layer 39 the layer below your

current ayer). Press apple+T.

Step 19=  Hold the shift key, grab the handle, shrink 

the white gradient by around 15%. Press enter.

Step 20= Hide the background layer and choose merge

visible from the layers palette's pop-up menu.

Step 21= Choose drop shadow from the layer style pop-up

menu at the bottom of your layers palette. Click Ok.

Step 22= Press apple+ u ( hue and saturation). Click the 

colorize button and move the hue slider to choose a color

for your button.

 

Transform Tutorial

Step 1-

Select the layer you would like to transform

(Scale, Rotate, Skew, Perspective, Rotate ccw,

Rotate cw, Flip horizontally, Flip Vertically).

Step 2-

Go to the edit menu, choose transform. 

Select the option you need to transform

your image.

Resize Tutorial

Step 1-

Hold down the apple key and tap the letter 'T'.

This will create a box around your image.

Step 2-

Hold down the shift key and drag one of the corner

edges in to make your image smaller. Drag it out

to make your image bigger.

Step 3- 

Click the enter key on the far right hand side on the 

key board to let photoshop know you are finish

resizing you image.

The witch went to grab the little kids, but junior got on the floor on his hands and knees and tripped the witch. The witch twist and turned and mistakenly picked up her magic wand) The witch then said, hey you little frog why did you.......POOF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
( The witch tuned into a purple frog) ( If you are thinking why she turned into a PURPLE frog, then it is because usually when you watch movies with witches in them their favorite color always seems to be purple). Hey she's a frog like me and she is pretty....................PRETTY, said Junior. I feel bad because she's all along in this forest as a frog by herself. Lets take her with us, she is a frog, she will not be harmful without her magical items she's nothing. I CAN STILL HEAR you childs, I MAY BE A FROG, BUT I SILL HAVE EARS AND A MOUTH, screamed sally (WITCH). they traveled to a kingdon and lived happily every after with different other animals. Sally became a nice witch, but what people did not know is that sally still had spells, because she is a witch and witches are very magical people even without their wands.

Choice A

They wished for a magical kingdom, once they created and built their kingdom, they wished for their friends back. They gave rules to everyone that lived in their kingdom, They were reliable and a safe and a nice respectful and intelligent and fair leaders. They invited everybody to live in their kingdom, yes people got punished and usually they punished them on behalf of their behavior. They wished for schools for humans and talking animals. Flying lessons for young birds, swimming lessons for young alligators, hippos, fish and other underwater creatures, they even had roaring classes for tigers, cheetah, lions and other animal that roar. They had different types of schools for a lot of different things, they had talking school that teach baby animals how to talk, they activity schools, academic schools, elementary schools, middle schools and high school. they had everything a real world would have except for real talking animals. The parents and grownups had money and jobs the world was great. One night everyone was thinking, thinking about the witch. They felt bad, even though the witch gave out a high amount of unacceptable orders, she still was a regular normal person like everyone else just except for her magical items. they set their all night and talked amongst each other in their big castle and they came out with a great idea. The next morning all 4 friends got up and went into their magical room in their 40 floor castle. Who will do the honor, said Elizabeth. how about all of us will do it together, Alex said. That A GREAT IDEA ALEX, said junior.( they all put their hands on the magic rock and said we, the four friends wish for sally the witch to come back to life). (the witch dropped on the floor. Thank you so much you little child's. Wait just a minutes, said Fred as the witch was running out. Yes my little dear child, said the witch. You can live in in our kingdom, but by our worlds. No that is fine i will go back to my forest. Yes you can accomplish that but NO MORE MEAN CRUEL STUFF. YES IF YOU SAY SO
